Instructions for S.4 Trial Subject Selection

Before filling out this form, please read the following instructions carefully:

DSE Curriculum

1. Students could only take one subject within the same elective block. Students have to take 3 electives (3X).
2. The students will be allocated to the subjects of the highest priority on their subject selection in accordance with their overall results in each particular subject.
3. If the subject of a student's choice is oversubscribed, his/her next choice will be processed and so forth.
4. Mathematics Extended Part (Module 1) and Mathematics Extended Part (Module 2) cannot be taken at the same time.
5. Under the constraints of class size, number of teachers, and school facilities, the school may not be able to satisfy all requests of students.
6. This form is final and can only be submitted once. After submission, no changes are allowed.
7. This is a trial only. The selection of this trial will not affect the final subject selection result.

IAL Bridging Curriculum

1. Students could only take one subject within the same elective block. Students have to take 3 electives (3X) or 4 electives (4X).
2. The students will be allocated to the subjects of the highest priority on their subject selection in accordance with their overall results in each particular subject.
3. The minimum number of students for each IAL elective is one-tenth of the total number of students successfully enrolled for IAL curiculum in that academic year (for example, if the total number of successful enrollments is 33, the minimum number of students per elective is 3). The maximum number of students per subject is 25.
4. This form is final and can only be submitted once. After submission, no changes are allowed.
5. This is a trial only. The selection of this trial will not affect the final subject selection result.
